TellTale Tells Walking Dead Fans To Expect "Something Major"
-----------We know it won't be Season 3 though.
TellTale has revealed that the third season of its episodic game The Walking Dead won't be released in 2015.
TellTale's director of PR, Job Stauffer, confirmed the news via twitter but he also teased "something major," which could be revealed as soon as E3.
"To re-clarify, no, TWD S3 is *not* starting in 2015," he tweeted. "But what I am seeing this week will be, and it is insanely cool. Stay close, news soon!"
TellTale previously said that there may be something new to play in its Walking Dead series before the new season is officially released. It is likely that Stauffer is referring to this in his Tweet.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days was released in the time between the first and second seasons of the game, which means it is possible that TellTale is planning a similar intermediary between season two and three, though this is only speculation.
Telltale is currently working on a plethora of other episodic projects, including games based on Minecraft and Game of Thrones.
