Sims 4 Expansion "Get Together" Delayed
-----------Senior producer says the extra time will allow them to "add more polish and depth."
Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 4's upcoming expansion called Get Together, will launch on December 8. The expansion was announced during Gamescom in August and was previously scheduled for release in November.
"As you might have guessed from the name, this expansion is about your Sims getting together in really exciting new ways," senior producer Lyndsay Pearson said in a blog post. "We loved seeing your reactions to the news, and closely followed all of your comments and discussions."
Pearson added: "Your enthusiasm and feedback inspired us to work even harder to make sure that this pack is everything it could be. So we've decided to take a little more time to work on the expansion pack."
She explained that developer Maxis is spending the extra time to "add more polish and depth" to the expansion. "We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better, and cooler," she said.
More information about Get Together will be announced in "early November."
