Release Date for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for PC, PS4 and Xbox One Unveiled

-----------
.....

The executive producer of the re-releases of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games, Mike Jones, reveals the release date of the titles for PS4, PC and Xbox One.

Comic themed video games have seen a mixed bag of releases over the recent years and the last generation certainly had some awesome examples for fans. While Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham games has set the standard to which all single player superhero experiences should stick, the Raven Software developed Marvel: Ultimate Alliance titles held a place in hearts of fans around the world, especially when the series' co-op gameplay was taken into consideration. This games are getting a re-release now, and it will be available pretty soon.

Both Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 will get their own re-release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on Tuesday, 26 July. This marks a swift turnaround from when the games were initially confirmed for another release during SDCC. Furthermore, the games will be seeing their first bit of spruce up for the new gen consoles and devices.

Executive producer Mark Jones has confirmed these news while addressing Marvel.com. Both games, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 will receive a major graphical and user interface update, the original feel of the games will still remain. Jones said that they wanted to keep these re-releases as faithful to the original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games as possible.

Originally, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was released by Activision in 2006, and it was available for nearly all devices that existed back then, its sequel came out three years later and it was developed by Vicarious Visions. The games were received extremely well by fans, with special love for the local multiplayer gameplay ability. The re-releases should receive a lot of love from gamers, given the scarcity of the local co-op games.

When Taiwanese Ratings Board first outed the re-release of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, many fans were restless. Being able to play the games with graphical enhancements will climb on top of most of the fans' lists. Hopefully, the games will live up to their original reputation, and now with Jones refusing to rule out future iterations on the series, a successful return might likely lead to more games in the franchise.
