Quantum Break receives a mysterious patch
-----------Remedy Entertainment's new game will receive a patch which is little known about, "it's still changing" says the development team.
The Finnish development team Remedy Entertainment confirmed that the patch will be released by the end of this week. The game will be fully patched by 1 May, but it's expected to be done by this Friday.
"The patches for the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of the game are currently waiting on the publisher's approval. The patches are still being tested and worked on fixing bugs." - said Remedy's Thomas Puh-"They should be published by the end of the week, but there is a possibility for them to be postponed. Still, I hope that is not going to happen."
For the inquiries on the content of the patches, Puh explained how he still cannot discuss details because the content is inerchangable. We will receive an official changelog after the patch is released.
In the midle of April, Remedy has confirmed their awareness about the problem the players have encountered, especially the ones on PC. It's said that the development team will do everything to fix the problems reported on their forums, social networks and other communication channels.
Some of the more serious problems are related to the frame stuttering and crashes, while some players state that the game can experience slow rendering after long play sessions. Remedy said that this problem is "very rare" and that they are working with Nvidia and AMD on improving gameplay experience. The PC version also lacks an exit button to quit the main menu. Remedy says: "We hear you!" in response to this criticism.
There is also a problem with downloading the game from the Windows Store, mainly the bugs are present with the way the progress bar is rendered. Microsoft has offered their help to anyone who has issues downloading and the Windows 10 Anniversary update this summer should massively improve the overall experience for these kinds of games.
