Players Will Have More Control Over Faction Rewards in Destiny: Rise of Iron

-----------
.....

Bungie revealed that players will have more control over faction reward drops in its upcoming Destiny expansion, Rise of Iron.

With the days getting closer to the release of Destiny's next major expansion known as Rise of Iron, the developers at Bungie continue to spread details about what new features will be included and how the add-on will make changes to the science fiction shooter.

Not while ago, actually, Christopher Barrett, game director at the studio, posted an update from his official Twitter account, revealing that the upcoming DLC will give Destiny players the ability to choose if they want armor or weapons from Faction packages.

An image on Barrett's tweet below shows New Monarchy rewards, but it's safe to assume that other Factions like Dead Orbit and Future War Cult will receive the same options in Destiny's Rise of Iron. What remains to be seen, though, is whether or not the Vanguard and Crucible faction drops will get similar updates, although it's possible that Iron Banner goes a different route with rewards.

Besides the recent reveal for the change in Destiny's Faction packages, it was announced earlier that with the launch of Rise of Iron, Shaders will affect class armor once more, which was received positively from the game's community. By putting together these two particular features should prove to be a popular improvement with would-be Guardians once the expansion arrives this September.

Even though Bungie will be using Rise of Iron to somehow revamp Destiny's loot system by making the accrual and usage of weapons, gear, and objects in the game a lot more fluid and meaningful in Rise of Iron - a good example of this is by doing that instead of simply bringing back a fan-favorite rocket launcher, there's a Gjallarhorn quest to get it - the studio may not give Guardians any additional storage to hold it all. Bungie said that right now, they aren't planning to expand the Vault space any further.

Destiny's Rise of Iron expansion is scheduled to launch on September 20, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
