PS4 and Xbox One versions of WildStar is the Next Step
-----------Carbine Studios says PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of WildStar "make a lot of sense."
According to Carbine Studios product director Mike Donatelli, WildStar could become available on onsoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Though he didn't outright confirm that it's happening.
"We have seen many MMOs who have made that transition to console being successful," he said. "So I think it would be safe to say, without saying too much, that, for any successful MMO who is looking to expand their business, looking at the console seems to make a lot of sense."
Other PC MMOs with console versions include Neverwinter, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Final Fantasy XIV.
WildStar was originaly launched on PC in June 2014 with a subscription model, however Carbine decided to make the game free-to-play, which happened last week.
