NBA Live 15 Delayed
-----------EA needs some time to "polish" the game.
NBA Live 15 has been delayed to October 28 to launch along with the opening night of the NBA’s 2014-15 season.
Producer Sean O’Brien announced the new release date in an open letter on EA’s NBA Live 15 blog.
“We will be taking a few extra weeks to polish the game and make sure you get an incredible NBA experience from the moment you first boot up the title,” O’Brien said.
The decision seems to factor in the feedback from the previews at Gamescom and responses to its Visual Trailer. O'Brien also said that the team has been working on all areas of 5-on-5 gameplay to improve control and responsiveness and animations.
At E3 2014, O'Brien acknowledged that EA fell short on delivering a quality game with NBA Live 14.
Previously NBA LIve 2015, was scheduled to launch against its competitor NBA 2K15 on October 7.
