Indigo Prophecy Is Coming To PS4 This Summer

.....

The official Twitter account of Quantic Dream confirmed that the PlayStation 2 game Indigo Prophecy will arrive to PlayStation 4 with 1080p HD visuals next month.

While most of the gamers remember Quantic Dream by the studio's Heavy Rain game on PS4 and PS3, the studio has been making story-focused and ambitious adventure games since 1999. It's second popular game, the Indigo Prophecy, is now coming to PlayStation 4, and has paved the way for games like Heavy Rain and really helped to put Quantic Dream on the map,

Indigo Prophecy with its PlayStation 4 version will be a part of the PS2 on PS4 lineup of games. For those unfamiliar, games that are made available to PS4 from PS2 feature an upgraded 1080p graphics, in addition to trophy support. It remains to be seen whether or not this is enough to convince those who already have the game to buy it again on PlayStation 4 when its released on July 18th, but if they do, it's going to be available for a relatively cheap price, coming in at just $14.99.

With the good deal of praise that the trailer of Detroit: Become Human earned during Sony's E3 2016, it now makes sense for Indigo Prophecy to come to PS4. The increased popularity Quantic Dream seems to be enjoying at the moment will allow Sony to cash in from it, which in turn could build up hype for Detroit: Become Human.

On top of that, including Indigo Prophecy to the PlayStation 4 library means that every game by Quantic Dream will soon be present on Sony's new console. The sci-fi adventure game called Omnikron: The Nomad Soul is the only title missing from Quantic Dream, though that game with Indigo Prophecy included are both still referenced endlessly in Quantic Dream Projects to this day.

While Omnikron may never come to PS4, Quantic Dream's fans will likely appreciate the fact that Indigo Prophecy is making its way to the platform. Indigo Prophecy is now available on Android, iOS, PC, PS2, Xbox, and will arrive on PlayStation 4 starting July 18th.
