Horror Game Perception Will Release on Xbox One

-----------
.....

The upcoming first-person horror game from former BioShock and Dead Space developers about a blind woman exploring a scary house, Perception, has been announced for Xbox One.

Earlier today, The Deep End announced the Xbox One version of Perception with a new trailer. Although the trailer is short on new details, it does offer players another look at the mysterious mansion Cassie will have to explore in the game, as well as the one-of-a-kind art style created to give players a sense of Cassie's blindness.

After the announcement of the Xbox Version of Perception, a number of fans may have been hoping that a release date would have followed. Perception is currently one of the most anticipated horror games, so fans who cannot wait to get their hands on it are curious when they can finally experience Cassie's adventure.

Sadly, the new trailer doesn't give any info as to when Perception will be available, but there's a good chance it will launch by the end of the year. After all, the game was originally aimed for release in 2016, so the developers have had an extra year to complete the game and polish it.

Maybe this extra development time contributed for The Deep End to focus some of its resources on developing an Xbox One version of the game. Despite that, it certainly is a welcome addition to the Xbox One's lineup of horror games, which seems to be growing substantially in 2017, thanks to releases like the well-received Resident Evil 7 from Capcom, as well as exclusive console titles like We Happy Few and the open world zombie game State of Decay 2.

Even though there are a number of high profile horror games already available for the Xbox One and many more on the way, Perception still manages to stand out because its unique art style, setting, and interesting premise.

Perception is being developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
