Hitman Received First Elusive Target Mode
-----------Hitman received a new mode, called Elusive Target. With the Elusive Target mode, players will have 48 hours at their disposal to kill the unmarked NPC, but also have to keep in mind that they will have little to no informations on the target.
"The Elusive Target is the closest thing to the Hitman fantasy that we've ever created" said IO Interactive. “Each one is a custom-created character with their own backstory and their own unique reason for being in that location.”
Additionally, you will get only one chance (ever) in order to finish the mission, which makes this a mode for the most skilled players. The first Elusive Target will show up in Paris, Episode One, at an unspecified time, 13.4., and you will have a whole weekend to find and kill this target.
Here are the rules that IO Interactive placed before you for this mission:
- For the Elusive Target you will have only one chance
- The Elusive Target is in the game for a limited time, and in the first mission you have 48 hours to finish it
- Information about that target will be limited;
- Targets will not be highlighted with the Instinct vision, or the mini-map, and their location will not be revealed to you. Your target will have to be found;
- Plan your mission carefully with the above information;
- Your target can die only once;
- If you die during a mission, the mission is over;
- If your time runs out, the target will escape and disappear forever;
- If you fail, you will not have a second chance.
Informations on future Elusive targets will not be so obvious, with IO Interactive suggesting that players should practice on this mode, as a training for future missions of this type.
