First Ever Look at Nintendo's Switch Console
-----------Nintendo decided to pull back the NX console and release the platform as the new Nintendo Switch, which can be brought on the go.
A huge amount of rumors have gone by, and finally Nintendo showed their new console off. Nintendo had plans to showcase the console this morning, and they have fulfilled their promise, giving fans a glimpse of the system in all of its prime glory. Rumors about the design were spot on, which means that the handheld and home console experts are in for something brand new.
The platform that was previously known as the NX will not come by the name of Nintendo Switch, which is true to the new-ground nature of the hardware. Furthermore, a number of games have been announced for the new platform, and they come from classic titles like Skyrim, to the brand new Mario Kart. A new Super Mario title has been confirmed alongside the new console. Anyone hoping to see the Switch in action can do so in the video below.
The most torturous experience for a gamer is taking their home gaming experience on the go, and the biggest change up in this console is the detachable Joy-Co controllers that clip to the side of the console and their corresponding Joy-CO accessory. The advantage of playing on the go with this console is the fact that players can each grab a Joy-Co clip-on and use it as a remote.
The final part of this console showcase is details about the power. Nvidia confirmed that their technology is used in powering the tech. By utilizing a custom Tegra processor, the Switch will focus on scalability for the hardware, and this means that the cartridge based software will look good whether or not it's in the dock.
The Nintendo Switch should arrive somewhere in March 2017
