Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Problems on PC
-----------Players who bought Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have come across many problems with the game on PC.
The Deus Ex series is one that always dared to discuss the boundaries between man and machine and Mankind Divided is no exception. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided focuses on the friction found between technology and nature, unfortunately though, it looks as the title is exploring these themes in a way that Eidos Montreal didn't want, as the PC version of the game is suffering from a lot of problems at launch.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has caused its PC players a lot of issues in the immediate post-release window. Among the main complaints about the game are the low frame rates the game experiences, mouse acceleration and plenty of crashes.
Eidos Montreal have announced that they are already hard at work on solving the problems with the game. They are suggesting some advice to everyone suffering from performance issues, including driver updates and using 1080p resolution. With that being said, other problems like mouse acceleration and startup crashes are currently listed under investigation.
There is another reason why Deus Ex: Mankind Divided struggles with Steam feedback. Customers who pre-ordered the game were extremely disappointed when they found out that some items, especially those in the Covert Agent Pack, are only for one use. That means that once the player has used that item, they won't be able to use it again in another game.
All those items are one use only because they are objects that are available through the game's microtransactions, even though this has caused concern for those who have purchased the game. This isn't the only time that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has courted controversy over its business model, after all, the scheme was eventually cancelled but many will definitely remember the title's infamous "augment your pre-order" system.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has received a lot of praise over the time, but all these DLC and PC issues will hardly endear the game to everyone who is interested in buying it. This title could end up joining the likes of Batman: Arkham Knight in PC gaming bad books, unless Eidos Montreal and Square Enix are quick to solve the PC issues in particular. Unfortunately though, this PC problem seems to be an ongoing issues with high profile games, but everyone is hoping they will be able to play the game without issues soon.
