Destiny's Rise of Iron Expansion Features Fallen Raid

-----------
.....

Destiny's fall expansion will feature the Fallen raid, which is based on a raid cut from last year's House of Wolves expansion.

Destiny's developer, Bungie, said that a major expansion is coming this fall, but hasn't said anything since then. A Reddit user posted a picture which shows a supposed title and cover of Destiny's Fall expansion, which is rumored to be called Rise of Iron.

Since the leak, Kotaku reported that this is true, also that the Rise of Iron expansion will include a raid. The raid may be based on the raid cut from the House of Wolves expansion from a year ago.

Early rumors about House of Wolves involved a raid taking place in the Reef, but that rumor was crushed when Bungie made it clear at the announcement of Destiny's House of Wolves that it would not come with a raid. Prison of the Elders, the horde-type mode, became a new endgame activity for the expansion, culminating the mechanical heavy boss, Skolas.

THe fans were extremely disappointed at the loss of House of Wolves' raid, since it was one of Destiny's most loved activities. Bungie said that Hose of Wolves would not get a raid because the team needed to focus on the biggest raid yet, which ended up being King's Fall. It came out in September 2015, with the TAken King expansion.

Bungie had planned on releasing the Fallen raid this April, according to Kotaku. It would have been with the recent April Update, but it was "delayed a while back." Even though there are no more details as to why the raid was delayed, reports say that the leadership shake up at Bungie caused the developer to push Destiny 2 out to 2017 and add the Rise of Iron expansion. Furthermore, the director Luke Smith has taken over leading development of Destiny's sequel, which has recently been rebooted according to Kotaku's sources.

Many of these rumors will be cleared up at this year's E3 next month and Bungie nor Activision have yet to comment on any of the Rise of Iron leaks.
