Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy Trailer Shows Off Remastered Graphics
-----------Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy's first gameplay footage debuted at the PlayStation Experience, revealing upgraded graphics and new gameplay features.
In the new trailer from the PlayStation Experience, fans are shown several levels from the first Crash Bandicoot game as they looked on the PS1, and then how they will look in Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy. Every aspect has been graphically improved, including incredible environment detail, impresive character models, and exclusive animations. Although some fans would rather have a new game in the series, this extreme graphical graphical upgrade should still leave most fans satisfied.
While the main selling point of Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy seems to be its graphics, that doesn't mean that it won't bring new gameplay features to the table as well. According to PlayStation Blog, Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy will contain a number of gameplay improvements and additions to make it a worthwhile purchase, including those who have fully mastered the original games.
Some of these features will come in the form of modern gaming conveniences. Compared to the previous game where it was required to complete a bonus round or find hidden collectibles in order to save, the original Crash Bandicoot will now lt players manually do so whenever they like. The games will also have a unified checkpoint and auto-save system, so players can shut down the game in the middle of a level and continue where they left off at the most recent checkpoint.
Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane trilogy will also try to add gameplay features that were available in later games to the original. For instance, time trials will now be present in all three games, which should give the original release more replayability as well as more challenge for veterans to conquer. Analog controls will also be fully supported on all three games, which should make the same of the harder bits in the first game less frustrating.
Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy is scheduled to release in 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
