Batman Season One by Telltale Will Be Done by the End of 2016

-----------
.....

Telltale just revealed that fans of Batman will be able to put the cowl on soon, as all five episodes of season 1 will be released by the end of 2016.

This year, not only did Telltale games release The Walking Dead: Michonne mini season and Minecraft: Story Mode, they also made some big announcements about some upcoming games, such as The Walking Dead: Season 3, 7 Days to Die and Batman - A Telltale Series.

Telltale recently came with a statement that The Walking Dead: Season 3 will be released in 2016, but an interview with Job Stauffer revealed some details about Batman - A Telltale Series. During the interview, he said that there will be five episodes out by the end of the year, besides the claim that the game will be out soon.

Although Stauffer couldn't say a firm release date, many speculate that if the company has plans to release one episode per month, the game will be available in July or August. This sure is great news to those of us who are eagerly waiting for the game ever since it was announced in 2016. There isn't a whole lot known about the game, other than what a few screenshots and details have told us, but it's known that the game will feature classic Batman characters like Lieutenant James Gordon, Harvey Dent (who later becomes Two-Face), Carmine Falcone and Selina Kyle (who is Catwoman) besides the classic Telltale art style.

Telltale have remained secretive about the plot of Batman - A Telltale Series, but since we know the cast list which has James Gordon as Lieutenant, not as Commissioner, as well as Harvey Dent instead of Two-Face, it is possible that the game will take place in the early years of Batman's crime-fighting carrier, or it offers a different view on The Dark Knight story. Telltale have revealed but one gameplay detail of the game, the one where somewhere in the gameplay, players will be able to approach a problem as either Batman or Bruce Wayne, which changes how characters will interact with the player based on this choice.

One of the few themes in Batman stories is the moral obscurity of fighting crime outside the boundaries of law. This seems like a perfect fit for Telltale's branching storyline mechanic. Batman - A Telltale Series looks like it's the closest thing yet to playing through a Batman comic.
