Assassin's Creed Syndicate Now Supports PS4 Pro 4K

-----------
.....

Ubisoft has revealed in the latest Assassin's Creed Syndicate patch notes that the game now supports 4K on the PS4 Pro, though the upgrade isn't without issues.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is the latest title to receive 4K support on PS4 Pro. According to the update 1.5 patch notes, the game now has 4K support on PS4 Pro, and provides a significant upgrade to the visual experience within Assassin's Creed Syndicate. This is the second major title from Ubisoft that has received 4K support on PS4 Pro. The developer and publisher also updated The Ezio Collection to support 4K on the new Sony console.

Though, in both cases, Ubisoft didn't provide any specific info as to how the 4K upgrade works, beyond the fact that the game now offers "4K dynamic rendering." Nevertheless, judging by the experience gamers had so far, and the details Ubisoft has provided, it's safe to say the 4K visuals in both games are just a visual upgrade and not native 4K. That being said, the improvements to the graphical quality in Assassin's Creed Syndicate are remarkable and impressive.

It's worth mentioning, though, that some players have experienced strange visual bugs and artifacts. While these glitches aren't exactly game-breaking, they do break the immersion and may be frustrating to some players. Let's hope Ubisoft will fix any lingering visual issues introduced with the 4K update.

Furthermore, some players have noticed that some of the visuals in 4K look worse than 1080p. Of course, Ubisoft doesn't want any more rendering issues after the Assassin's Creed Unity fiasco, so the developer is definitely looking to make any necessary fixes.

Regarding the 4K visuals in PS4 Pro, some players have stated the game looks better on 1080p televisions, not just 4K sets. This may not be experienced by every Assassin's Creed Syndicate player, but it seems so far some have reported the game looks better on HDTVs including the 4K televisions.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
