2015's Need for Speed Is "Looking Spectacular"
-----------The upcoming project from Ghost Games is already well into development.
After taking 2014 off, the Need for Speed franchise is coming back this year a brand new title from Ghost Games in Sweden. While the game has not been officially announced by Electronic Arts, the state of development is teased.
During a recent earnings call, EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that the game will launch this year, and teased that it is "already looking spectacular." Unfortunately, he didn't say anything more about the game.
"Our Need for Speed franchise will return in FY16 with a game that is already looking spectacular."
Last year Ghost Games GM Marcus Nilsson said: "We are already deep in development on our next game and want to make this promise to you: we will listen to you. We're going to give you the game you've been asking for. It will be the game you deserve, but to do that will take us some time."
Nilsson further boasted about the game at the time, describing it as "highly innovative" and an "experience built on a foundation we know you'll greatly look forward to."
